Specifically, EMLs are demonstrated at the optical communication shows, and the market demands for modulators that are compatible to silicon photonics.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h2>145 GHz &#8211; Breaking barriers<\/h2>\n<div>\n<p>2024: While the market is in catch-up mode, Polariton raises the bar and characterizes MZM and IQ to 145 GHz. The company also introduces new packages and positions itself as a custom PIC provider. Customer base reaches from communication, to computing and quantum technologies. Simultaneously, the communication market starts to scout for 400G\/lane solution which Polariton easily enables and there is the advent of O band product with wavelengths around 1310 nm.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h2>First products launched<\/h2>\n<div>\n<p>2023: Polariton introduces one packaged product module and three products at chip level. Datasheets are published and available for download. At Photonics West and OFC, the company also introduces the Polariton PDK. At ECOC Polariton presents major improvement in long term reliability. Customers start to place orders with standard lead times. The team remains dedicated to its core values of teamwork, communication, and curiosity, driving the company\u2019s ongoing success.
