Nicholas Güsken

Nicholas received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Physics from RWTH Aachen University, Germany in 2013 and 2016. Additionally, he received a M.Sc. degree in Nanotechnology from the University Sorbonne – Paris VI, France in 2014 and a M.Sc. degree in Management, Business and Economics from RWTH Aachen University, Germany in 2016.
Nicholas completed his Ph.D. in Physics with focus on Nanophotonics, Plasmonics and Opto-electronics at Imperial College London in January 2020 for which he was awarded the Imperial Solid State Thesis Prize 2020. This was followed by a research associate position in the same group (Prof. Dr. Maier and Prof. Dr. Oulton) until joining Polariton Technologies in November 2020.
At Polariton, Nicholas is involved in the R&D chip-development and bringing a viable product to the market.
