Polariton will participate in the SPIE Photonics West 2026, the world-leading event for optics and photonics technologies, to be held 20-22 January 2026 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.
As part of our efforts to advance optical communication, we are working to bring 400G per lane to 1.6T and 3.2T transceivers. In parallel, we have achieved a major milestone in electro-optic (EO) modulation. Together with ETH Zurich and the group of Prof. Juerg Leuthold, we fabricated devices which have been demonstrated capable of EO bandwidths around 1 THz. This breakthrough paves the way for next-generation photonic integrated circuits (PICs).
Further we have recently demonstrated how optical-DAC (optical digital to analog converters) can help to reduce DSP and equalization requirements during signal transmission or how PNN (plasmonic neural networks) provide a valid alternative for optical signal processing.
